Father Payton at James' Baptism

At Easter dinner, we discussed Father Payton's attendence at James' baptism so I thought I would post this article also.

Hudson River Park

Those of you who joined us in welcoming the Navy Glee Club to NYC may remember the bicycle and running path in front of the pier for Intrepid.  This is actually a major park that runs from mid town down to the tip on Manhattan on the west side.  Each pier is a different project.  The NY Times ran a story yesterday about the latest pier development in the park.  I am attaching it in case you are interested.

When Does A Run Score On A Double Play?

Mike and I had an interesting time at the Yankees game yesterday. It was a seesaw game but we were both happy where it ended up. I have a question about one play that I was hoping someone could clarify for me. In the fourth inning with one out, the bases were loaded with Giambi on first, Abreu on second and Jeter on third. Nady hit a fly to left field that was caught. The runners on second and third tagged and ran to third and home respectively. I thought Jeter crossed home plate before Abreu was tagged out at third but the run was not counted.
