Submitted by Mark on Fri, 02/17/2006 - 3:04pm.We have arrived after a day of flying. Had a nice dinner at the Sweet Tomatoes to celebrate Mom and Dad Woods Anniversary and our arrival in Florida. The weather is in the 80s and much different from what we left in NYC. We are trying out the pool at Heritage Cove and then go to a concert tonight by a local muscian called Paul Todd. We are looking forward to seeing many others here shortly.

How to set up a link
Submitted by Mark on Fri, 02/10/2006 - 3:57pm.I noticed that some of you may be wondering how to do this. You can set up a link to a web page by entering
"<a href="http://www.electricscotland.com/webclans/dtog/davidso2.html" >Davidson</a>"
where you want the link to appear. This obviously is an example so you need to insert the URL you want to link to in the quoted section of the code and the name that will serve as the link between the carrot ">" that follows the URL and the closing tag "</a>."
For example, click on

Submitted by Mark on Mon, 01/30/2006 - 10:59pm.A couple of comments. If you want to create a blog entry, you need to click on my blog or create content. As you are creating your blog entry, you will have the option to promote your entry to the front page. This is the default. If you click this option to the off position, the blog post will not appear on the front page. This choice appears in the middle of the top of the page as you create your entry. The same choice can be made when you create any other content -- such as uploading an image or posting to a forum.
Privacy
Submitted by Mark on Fri, 01/27/2006 - 9:16am.I have removed the view permissions settings because they seemed to be getting in the way of publication of blog entries and the like and very little, if anything, was being set as private. Document attachments to forum posts remain private unless you are logged in. If anyone would like to discuss this, please send me an email or give me a call.

View Permissions
Submitted by Mark on Sun, 01/22/2006 - 10:17pm.I have edited the permissions on the site to block some of the content except to logged in visitors. When you create new content like a blog entry, you will have the option to do the same. Please only click view for an anonymous user if you want any visitor to the site to see what you have posted. I suggest you leave edit unclicked until we understand better how this works.

Submitted by Mark on Sat, 01/07/2006 - 9:30pm.I am trying to see whether this is powerful enough to replace the Nucleus blog.
Let me have your comments. This program is very easy to use so don't get scared. You can post something like this in a few minutes time.
You can set up your own blog (journal). Mom Woods -- is this you? Or you can comment on another blog like Anne and Chuck's.
