Autism Speaks

Autism Speaks created a music video of the Five for Fighting song, "World", which features images of autistic children and their families. It is a truly moving video and was the work of Bill Shea. The band is generously donating $0.49 to Autism Speaks for each time the video is viewed - the funding goes toward research studies to help find a cure. When you have a moment, please visit the link above to watch the video and pass it along to your friends and family. They are aiming for 10,000 hits, but hopefully we can help them to surpass this goal.

Birdbrains

We had a lovely Saturday together as a family. Dan had gotten in on Thursday so we had a nice game of Up and Down the River that night. Friday the men in the family went to Auriesville and walked around. Apparently, they have sold the Retreat House, where we think Uncle Francis died, so they couldn't get to that building. I had to work so they all graciously and pleasantly agreed to go on the Pitchoff hike with me in the Adirondacks on Saturday. We heard a strange sound probably a bird but it was almost mammal sounding--we actually thought it was kids fooling around for a long time. Another bird was flutelike in its song so I thought that might be a thrush.

Easter

Tom and I will make our lamb for a crowd. Where and who wants to get together? Should we do it on our deck or is there a interest/volunteer for another location? Dan, M and D, and all out of towners we will be thinking of you! Chappaqua folks we hope you will come to town! Roberto is bringing tossed salad. Love you!

Duet Heaven

Anna and Emily performed Sunday with a beautiful cello and flute duet. They were dressed all in black and were lovely with their beautiful dark hair and magnificent performance on stage alone together in the Glens Falls Theater. TEAM what was the piece they played? Family be sure to ask them to perform it for you when you are together. Join us for Pippen this Friday--tickets at the door of SHS. Emily in the pit; Melissa managing.
