A must read obituary--do not ignore!

I know that most of you do not read my numerous submissions. This is a cultural artifact that you must know--there will be a quiz. do not skip this link. you must post a comment to prove that you have completed your assignment.

"Hal Coyote"

Very good, class

You have all performed admirably. I think the handlers are trying to avoid liability--he was okay when we handed him over to Putnam County; we've never had a death during a tagging procedure, etc. I see a lawsuit by PETA in the future.

I am now looking forward to the obit for "Wile E. Coyote, 65; Chased roadrunners"

This was a good short article.

It's easier to take the time to read. Others I have to print and read at another time. Plus, it's exciting to think there may be a quiz! It sounds like they tried to take good care of him. He even spent a week at a rehab. park! I'm sure everyone concerned feels badly about it. It will at least have been a learning process and will help them overall in the future. I had no trouble accessing this article, by the way, and I'm not a member of NY Times.

Okay

I scanned the article. Unless yr question is what is a necroscopy I don't think i can pass your quiz but you are very funny. An obit for a coyote was quite an event but he earned it.

Since you have posted a link to the NY Times, you have to have an account to read what you linked to. We have one. But others may have accounts so I am not sure whether this is a problem or not.

Poor guy!

We heard a lot about it on the news and paper. So, I'm ready for the quiz. We have even heard coyotes here at our house. They can be very loud and sound like an animal screaming. Also, one day when Anne and Chuck happened to be visiting, one walk right through our back yard and we all got a good look at it while having breakfast at the kitchen table.

How sad!

We read about him in the Times when he was captured. He gave them a good fight. I can't believe he died. Do you think we will ever hear the autopsy results?

poor guy

he must have been scared because they took him so far away. either that or cornell grad students are more malicious than it is known
