Science and religion

I found this article interesting. Whenever the biology debate comes up I always think of quantum physics, which has a very spiritual dimension, at least to me.

I think it's super interesting when science and religion seem to overlap. I think that's one of the reasons I always like Madeleine L'Engle books, A Wrinkle in Time, and the Philip Pullman, His Dark Materials series of books.
They always seem to put such awesome scientific and galactical perspective on spirituality.
Astronomy
I see in the paper that a new map of the universe just came out which takes us back to the few seconds just after the Big Bang. I always find those articles thought-provoking.
i agree with you on the L'Engle and Pullman books--although Pullman has been getting a little cranky latley, criticizing other authors, all of whom preceded him, so its not like their worlds were specifically generated to contradict his views--but his books are great. Did I read that they are going to make movies of them?
definitely
those are great and fun books. and whenever i learn some new biology it is truly fascinating how incredibly intricate biological systems are. and they always seem to be the most efficient and really rather rational ways of attaining what is needed. i speak mostly of molecular biology but even on the ecological level, things are amazing.
this amazingness has always screamed the existence of a higher being to me
