Clam Fritters

2 cups clams
2 eggs beaten
1/2 cup clam juice
2 cups flour
1/2 cup milk
2 tsp. baking powder

Drain clams and chop fine.  Combine all other ingredients except clams into a batter that is smooth.  Stir in clams.  Drop from a teaspoon into deep hot fat and fry for 1 min. or until golden.  Serves 6.

Home Made Tartar Sauce

Chop finely sweet pickles or use some pickle relish, splash lemon juice and mayo.  Amounts don't matter, to taste.
