Beverly's Scalloped Oysters
- Heat oven to 450 degrees.
- Mix 1 ½ cups dry bread crumbs or cracker (Ritz) crumbs with ½ cup melted butter.
- Spread 1/3 of crumbs in greased baking dish.
- Arrange over crumbs in 2 layers 1 pint oysters, drained, ½ tsp. salt, ¼ tsp. pepper, ¼ cup diced celery, 2 TBSP minced parsley and 2/3 cup liquid (oyster or milk).
- Top layer will be crumbs.
- Bake 30 min.
- Beverly always quadrupled this recipe.
