The old photo that Mark posted on the blog for Father's Day is a picture of Mike McCullough and myself in my backyard at 711 Stanley Street, Schenectady. The building in back is St. Columba's School. The photo may have been taken at Easter time; I am not sure how old I was maybe seven or eight. Mike is only a few days younger than me I believe and we are still good friends. He also was a marine, a sargeant, and I believe I discussed our getting together during the World War 2 years once in Washington, for a few days in California, and once in Hawaii. I don't know how we got together because we didn't have cell phones back then. Mike and his wife Jean now live out near Bill, Tom and Wilfred Hesler out on Old State Road in Schenectady.

Mike was stationed in Japan for a while too but we never got together there.
