We were in the process of building the barn into a house in Loudonville and Dad was recovering from infectious hepatitis. We went on this camping trip with Ted and Grace who had just married in May 1946. Mom was expecting Anne. We wanted to get together with the Yunds again and have a nice week on Lake George. I will always remember how beautiful the moon is looking at it from Hearthstone State Park at Lake George. The picture was taken late August and I was expecting Anne in December. Dad left for Fordham University in September to pursue a Master's Degree in Psychiatric Social Work and Criminology.
