July 19, 2017 - Barkcamp State Park, OH

On our way home we paused today in this forested park in eastern Ohio.  We savor our last day out before arriving and beginning many, many chores.  You may remember that we left home in mid-February.  Now, in mid-July, we return.  We bring back many memories that will be treasured.

I’d like to say we will put up our feet when we settle it, but after we unpack and clean the camper and auto there will be household and financial chores.  We hope to moderate activities, but too often life at home is a series of chores.  That is not such a bad thing; one cannot live if one does not work.  So, we work cheerfully.  And, we remember the adventures we shared on the road for more than five months.  What a long strange trip it’s been.
