I'm sorry to everyone who got an e-mail for every addition to the calendar I made for this month. I'll have to figure out how to add an event without it notifying everyone by e-mail that they have an appointment. I'm sorry in advance if I make further errors while I do this.

No problem
We liked hearing about the events by e-mail because I don't check the calendar yet. If we end up using the calendar a lot, then I will start checking it regularly.
We were at Hidden Lake Girl Scout Camp this weekend and had a relaxing time with seven 10th and 11th grade girls who came from the troop. We're planning a trip to London next year so they had fun doing research for the trip, as well as minor hiking in the woods at camp. Mostly sat by the fire reading, talking and listening to music.
A & E have a concert in Glens Falls March 19. If interested, give me a call!!
Calendar
If you posted Anna and Emily's concert on the 19th of this month, it's not on there for me. That's how I think I got into trouble because I noticed that and selected everyone, which seemed to work. Consequently, everyone got e-mailed about the event.

Pippin
We ran into Terry Kennedy the other night; is Emily playing in the pit in "Pippin" at SHS? Let us know the dates; Patty and I love "Pippin"--we can almost sing every song--not that anyone would want to hear us do it. "Join us; leave your field to flower. . . etc."

Emily WILL be playing in the pit for the school's Pippin production from 3/22-3/25 (all evening performances, no matinees). Melissa is set manager (she's in charge of the sets. I don't know what the official job title is). I attempted to put it on the family calendar. It shows up on ours. Does it show up on anyone elses? "...And then the men go marching out into the fray..."

There are many little comments like this throughout, like the queen who refers to the Bible that she "keeps closed on my shelf" which teaches her that when she serves others she's really serving herself.
I look forward to seeing it again.

Maybe I will post events and dates to remember in The Woods Family Events instead of the Calendar.
I can help
Until we see if the calendar is useful, we probably should try to use the main website. I think the problem was that you included participants in your calendar entry which caused the emails to be sent out and then no one else knew what why they had been contacted or what to do. In the future, if you make calendar entries, you probably want to avoid including participants -- at least until we work out how we are going to handle this. Give me a call if you have any questions.

I was able to see MM concert and birthday additions but when I tried to add Dan's vacation for the week of 3/18 it ended up going onto every day for me eventho I thought I limited it to one week--sorry to be a pain
