I have carefully scrutinized the picture in question and it appears that most of the class is dependent upon flotation devices. You, however, appear not to have one. I do note the 5 ft depth marking on the side of the pool which appears to be on the same plane as your body, and although I cannot be certain, I am reasonably sure that your feet were touching the bottom of the pool.
Nevertheless, the work you were performing may have been of the intellectual type. The leader of the group (Dad Woods?) may have been giving a lecture in Hegelian dialectics, and I would concede that listening to such a presentation would be work.
