Chopped Liver Alert

I am collecting any references to "chopped liver" that I encounter. Here's the latest: Spartan Foray [Mark Krikorian] I'll be speaking this evening at Michigan State, sponsored by the local YAF chapter; see details here. The Young Democratic Socialists chapter on campus held a press conference Tuesday denouncing YAF (see here; the red Che Guevara t-shirt was an especially nice touch), but they don't seem to have attacked me specifically — what am I, chopped liver? I only hope I can get as enthusiastic a response as Tom Tancredo or Chris Simcox. 10/04 06:25 AM

from Tim in Costa Rica to his family

Hola is how they say it down here in Costa Rica. Sorry ive had trouble trying to contact everyone but I haven?t gotten the phone card dialing down yet because there are bout 1200 numbers you have to dial and by the time you get them dialed you only get the answering machine oh well. It is an awesome acceptance of the global significance of the problem and that if measures are not taken to understand and mitigate and to face the problem and its solutions, that it will be an issue of international conflict.

Union College joins the American College and University Presidents Climate Commitment

The American College and University Presidents Climate Commitment is a program of my organization where presidents and chancellors of higher education institutions promise to make their schools climate neutral. I thought it was fun that Union signed up. There are now 419 schools signed up, representing over 3.4 million students. Article below: http://www.union.edu/N/DS/edition_display.php?e=1452&s=7421 The greening of Union: College signs climate pact Union has gone green, officially.
